Introduction
The Business Briefings series is published by Business Briefing Ltd (BBL),
a trading division of Ambient plc. All use of the Business Briefings website(s)
is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below. Any use of the Business
Briefings series constitutes the users agreement to abide by these terms
and conditions.
All information and materials (including, but not limited to, text, software,
photographs, graphics, illustrations and artwork, video, sound, names, logos,
trademarks and service marks) on this site is copy work and owned by BBL or
its affiliates, contributors or licensors.
Except as expressly set out below, all rights reserved, you may copy or download
reasonable excerpts of the information or material for your own internal purposes,
but may not do so in a systematic way with the intention of creating your own
database or information service. Nor may you otherwise copy, perform, publish,
modify, transform, commercially exploit, reverse engineer or use any such information
or material without prior consent of the copy holder.
Advertising: Terms & Conditions
Interpretation: the Publisher means Business Briefings Ltd (BBL),
a division of Ambient plc; the Advertiser, where the context so
admits, means the Advertiser or its agent, whichever is the principal.
Advertisements in the Business Briefings series are accepted according to the
Publisher's approval of the copy and upon the following terms and conditions.
1. Accounts are strictly net and subject to settlement within 30 days from
the date of invoice.
2. All cheques must be made payable to the Publisher and settlement of all
accounts should be made at the address appearing thereon.
3. This order constitutes a non-cancellable binding contract with the Publisher,
of which the terms and conditions are governed by English law.
4. The Advertiser is solely responsible to submit to the Publisher suitable
material by the due date, failing which the name and address of the advertiser
will remain online and the Publisher shall not be responsible for any resulting
mistake, error or omission.
5. The Publisher will endeavour to furnish the Advertiser with a proof of copy
prior to going to press and any amendments of or alterations to such proofs
must be returned to the Publisher by the date on the proof copy. The Publisher
accepts no responsibility for non-receipt or non-delivery of any material.
6. Whilst every care is taken to avoid mistakes, the Publisher cannot accept
liability for any errors and/or omissions due to third parties, subcontractors
or inaccurate copy instructions.
7. The Advertiser warrants that the Corporate Presentation does not contravene
any Act of Parliament, nor in any other way illegal or defamatory or an infringement
of either any other party's right and/or the British Code of Advertising Practice.
8. The Advertiser will fully and effectually indemnify the Publisher from and
against any claim made against the Publisher arising from the Corporate Presentation.
The Publisher will consult with the Advertiser as to the way in which any such
claim(s) is/are to be handled.
9. Complaints regarding reproduction of Corporate Presentation must be made
in writing and received by the Publisher within 21 days of the date of posting
live.
10. The order form contains all the terms of the contract and no agent or other
representative of the Publisher has any right to vary these terms in any way.
Exclusions
The series is provided on an as is basis and BBL does not make any
representation or give any warranty in respect of the Business Briefings series.
In particular, BBL does not give any warranty as to the accuracy, suitability,
reliability, completeness, performance, fitness or freedom from viruses or timeliness
of the Business Briefings series.
In no circumstances shall BBL be held liable for any loss or damage arising
out of the information or use of the Business Briefings books, CDs or websites.
Nor will it be held liable for any loss or damage arising from any interruptions,
inaccuracies, data loss or delays in delivery of the Business Briefings website.
The content of this site is for general information purposes only. Any views
or opinions expressed within the content are not necessarily those of BBL and
should not be interpreted as an endorsement. The content does not indicate advice
and should not be relied upon for making or refraining from making any business/investment
decisions.
External
Users may, through hypertext or other computer 'links', gain access to other
sites on the Internet that are not part of the Business Briefings Web pages.
BBL assumes no responsibility for any material outside of the Business Briefings

General
BBL reserves the right to cease operating the Business Briefings series or to
terminate a users access and use of any part of the Business Briefings

These conditions and your use of the Business Briefings series shall be governed
by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the courts of England
shall have jurisdiction to hear all disputes arising in connection with these
terms and conditions of such use.

Business Briefings Ltd recognises the rights, granted to individuals by the
Data Protection Act 1998 ("the Act"), of access to, knowledge of and
control over information held about themselves. Its websites are operated in
compliance with the eight principles of the Act, with regard to processing,
security and transfer of personal data gathered via these websites.
Privacy Statement
The Business Briefings series uses information voluntarily submitted to us by
visitors (that is, during general registration) or information the site gathers
automatically.
We may use the Internet Protocol (IP) address to help identify technical problems
with our server and to administer the website. Furthermore, the IP address may
be used to help identify the users.
The Business Briefings series websites contain links to other sites. However,
we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

of the Business Briefings series (forums, noticeboards and so on) becomes public
