Matti S Aapro, MD, is Executive Director of the International Society for Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and a Member
of the Board of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). He is also Dean of the
Multidisciplinary Oncology Institute, Genolier, Switzerland. Dr Aapro has authored more than 180 publications
and his major interests are new drug development, breast cancer, cancer in the elderly, and supportive care. ■

Monica Castiglione-Gertsch, MD, is former Chief Executive Officer of the International Breast Cancer Study Group
(IBCSG), a Professor of Oncology at the University of Bern, and a Consultant Physician at the University Hospital-
Inselspital. She is Director of the Co-ordinating Center of the Swiss Institute for Applied Cancer Research.
Dr Castiglione-Gertsch is an active member of several national and international committees and societies. ■

Alexander MM Eggermont, MD, PhD, is President of the European CanCer Organisation (ECCO) and a Professor
and Head of Surgical Oncology at the Erasmus Medical Center–Daniel den Hoed Cancer Center in Rotterdam. He
is an active member of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and Past Chair
of the International Affairs Committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). ■

Past Chairman, American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT)
Dawn M Fucillo, MA, RT(R)(T)(QM), CMD, is Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Society of
Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). The ASRT represents more than 120,000 members, including more than 10,000
radiation therapists and medical dosimetrists. Ms Fucillo is also Director of the Samaritan Regional Cancer Center
and Mario Pastega Guest House in Corvallis, and is a member of many national and local organizations. ■

Chairman, Radiation Oncology, Beth Israel Medical Center and St Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital
Louis B Harrison, MD, is Chairman of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center and St Luke’s-Roosevelt
Hospital, Clinical Director of the Continuum Cancer Centers of New York, and Co-Director of the Institute for
Head and Neck Cancer. Prior to this, Dr Harrison was Chief of the Brachytherapy Service and Leader of the Head
and Neck Cancer Disease Management Team at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. ■

Richard B Reiling, MD, FACS, is Immediate Past President of the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC)
and Medical Director of the Presbyterian Cancer Center. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Cancer Services for
Ohio Health in Columbus, the fifth largest hospital system in the US. He has been on the faculty of Wright State
University School of Medicine for the past 28 years. ■
