Aims and Scope • The American Heart Hospital Journal (The AHHJ) endeavors to support the development of the heart hospital concept and assist in the dissemination of best practice developed in heart hospitals for broader implementation.


• The AHHJ aims to assist cardiac specialists in achieving their goal: optimal delivery of cardiovascular patient care. • The AHHJ comprises balanced and comprehensive articles written by leading authorities addressing the most important and salient developments in the heart hospital field.


• The AHHJ aims to support physicians, clinicians, and leading industry professionals in continuously developing their knowledge, effectiveness, and productivity. The editorial policy has been designed to encourage discussion among this peer group.


Structure and Format • The AHHJ is a bi-annual journal comprising original contributions, editorials, review articles, case reports, and special reports. • The structure of each edition of The AHHJ is determined by the journal’s Editor in Chief, Sylvan Lee Weinberg, MD.


Editorial Expertise The AHHJ is supported by various levels of expertise: • Overall control by Editor in Chief, Sylvan Lee Weinberg, MD. • The support of an Editorial Board comprising leading authorities from a variety of cardiovascular disciplines. • Peer review—conducted by experts appointed for their experience and knowledge of a specific topic. • An experienced team of Editors and Technical Editors.


Subscriptions The AHHJ is published twice a year and is available on subscription. Subscription rates for 2010/2011 are as follows: Full Institutional (online and print): US$120 (the Americas), GBP90 (International); Full Institutional (online only): US$110 (the Americas), GBP80 (International).
