Job Title: Sales Account Manager

The Job
- This role requires someone who can lead, motivate and organise a team, and think strategically to innovate, drive products and maximise revenue
- This role requires someone who is energetic, persistent and possesses strong communication skills
- The individual must be able to hit the ground running, think on their feet and have a strong personal drive/desire to succeed
Key Responsibilities
Team
- Maximise revenue for each given therapy area, across publications, online and medcomms
- Recruitment, train and motivate team to ensure maximum performance
- Takeover calls, coach and do call backs
- Ensure fair and effective lead distribution
- Be a commanding and positive presence on the team
- Liaise with med writing team to ensure top key products are being pitched effectively with relevant topic proposals
- Account managing key clients and products, maximise repeat revenue and ensure overall clients’ satisfaction
- Make sure our range of products are being effectively presented and revenue opportunities optimised
- Maximise the use of key client face-to-face presentations where relevant
- Maximise revenue from my own key clients
Products
- Drive product development, marketing and circulation
- Oversee continual development and updating of circulation list
- Oversee an up to date and proactive social media marketing campaign
- Constant monitoring of competition
Clients
- Be responsible for overseeing effective communications between editorial, medcomms, production and sales in the fulfillment process
- Oversee good client relations and maximise repeat revenue
- Ensure good communication of company/product developments to new and existing clients
- Attend face-to-face meetings with clients at congresses and events, and organise and conduct capabilities presentations at clients’ offices.
Media Partners
- Helping maintain, develop and grow media partners
- Optimize current partnerships
Key Performance Indicators:
The performance and success criteria for this position will be based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and revenue generation. The KPI’s would typically be:
- Own and team work rate/call times
- Minimum of £30,000 per month
- Distribution of sales across the team
- Staff retention & development
- Product Development/Exposure
- Revenue/Targets
