A prestigious pharmaceutical/medical publisher is looking to appoint a Senior Medical Writer to work in their medical communications team. The successful candidate will be a biological or pharmaceutical sciences graduate. You will have proven experience in medical writing preferably within in an agency, industry or publishing environment.

It is essential that you have the capability to write both commercial and highly scientific copy for a number of different audiences. You will have the ability to write clearly, with scientific accuracy and to a brief, as well as editing and proofreading. You will be an excellent communicator with great organisational and time management skills. You will research and evaluate current medical and scientific literature, and write manuscripts, newsletters, meeting reports and other materials for publication, as well as reviewing copy to ensure scientific quality and accuracy. You will attend client briefing meetings, conferences and scientific symposia, taking comprehensive notes and record symposia sessions. In order to ensure copy-flow, you will need proven skills in working in a multi-disciplinary team.
